Yesterday was the first big outing for Undyed Binder Zero. It was raining and I was using my Filofax Charleston handbag which has a black lining. It was in my bag with my keys, pens and wet umbrella.
The kind of life I lead and the kind of job I have I cannot baby my bags or my binders. I counted today and I took the binder out of my bag sixteen times. This would be far more complicated if I used a dust bag. Particularly as I use it as a wallet.
At the end of the day it did have a mark or two but I can see that it is going to develop a gorgeous patina.
Two people spontaneously commented on it. My first student of the day and the woman who served me when I was buying lunch.

About to go into my brown Filofax Charleston handbag, bought from bouteia on eBay.This is a really lovely bag.

On my lap on the train. My belt is by Elliot Rhodes.

My first student of the day. We were doing a run through of a presentation she is presenting in Brussels next week. This involves going through the presentation, doing a dry run, timing it, brainstorming questions she may receive and then another run through. The language is quite technical and specific and you also have to take into account Brussels-speak. Anyone who works with it will know what I mean!

Lunch. I am still not feeling up to eating so it was a liquid lunch while I answered emails and read through documents for my next meeting.

A teeny smudge. But with this kind of leather you soon don’t notice it. The first ones are always the hardest!
